I'm an LPN with a Bachelor's of Science in Communications. I've been a CNA/Nurse for about eight years. I've learned that in order to be a good nurse, you have a to be a good teacher!
What are your teaching styles that makes your student succeed?
Patience! You have to have a lot of it. Also, positive reinforcement is important for the student to succeed. Point out what they did right, not always what they did wrong. You just have to make learning fun.
I love Sylvia ( our Director)! She's such an inspiration and really believes in what's she doing for the community. Her heart is in it and that motivates me to give our student 100% of my knowledge. The difference at SWVT is the enthusiasm we have for our students. We do everything we can to make them succeed. It's exciting being in a field with so much demand.
We thank you Mrs. Scharfenberg for all your dedication and hard work to prepare our graduates for the real world! SWVT
